Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming almost every industry. In healthcare, we hear how AI is being used to discover new drugs, help surgeons perform surgeries remotely and even diagnose conditions.
What we don’t often hear about are the business use cases, particularly for pharmaceutical marketing. In fact, some pundits are starting to sour on AI because they aren’t seeing it making a difference today.
The intricacies of our industry certainly raise deep and valid concerns about ethics and privacy. But as capabilities advance, and technologists and lawyers learn each other’s language, the opportunity to “pharmatize” AI grows – especially because AI use cases in pharma marketing are starting to pile up.
