When communities are in need, our teams at EVERSANA and EVERSANA INTOUCH step up to help.
Recently, members of our agency team in the San Diego area held a food drive to support individuals and families affected by the recent Southern California wildfires.
As a part of Community Day, the team collected boxes of food that were donated to Feeding San Diego, a local organization seeking bottled water, hydrating beverages, snacks and ready-to-eat meals.
Feeding San Diego is the leading hunger relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County and the only Feeding America partner food bank in the region. After donations were collected, they were transported to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help families in need.
“Many of us in the San Diego office know family or friends that have been significantly impacted by the devasting fires in Los Angeles,” said Marissa Moriarty, SVP, Operations. “Contributing to causes like the food bank or donating to organizations and individual families in need are some of the small ways we are doing what we can to help. It is reassuring to work for a company with a community that cares.”
Julie Dudderar, a member of the meeting planning team, has also seen the impact firsthand. Her husband, a Los Angeles County firefighter, stayed at his station for nine straight days to help battle the fires. “I’m grateful for his commitment to our community and to everyone who has served.”
Our employees’ commitment to their clients, patients and their communities is inspiring. If you are inspired by our mission and values, explore our open roles and join us in creating a healthier world for all.
