As we pass mid-October, we reflect on EVERSANA INTOUCH’s celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Month. This annual observance, running from September 15th to October 15th, provides an opportunity for us to honor the rich and diverse culture, history, and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities.
Coffee Chat with Internal Guests:
One of the highlights of our Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations was a kick-off coffee chat with internal guests who shared their inspiring stories and insights. These coffee chats were a chance for our team to connect on a deeper level, learn from one another, and gain a better understanding of the Hispanic and Latinx experience.
We were fortunate to have several talented and passionate individuals from our agency share their personal journeys and perspectives. Thank you to Beth Garcia, Vice President, Business Transformation; Jessica Lampson, Group Program Director; Juliana Garay, Director, Editorial; and Siobhan Neely, Group Director, Strategic Planning for sharing their personal reflections.
Their stories painted a vivid picture of the diverse tapestry of Hispanic and Latinx heritage, highlighting the common threads that bind us all. From Mexico to Argentina, Puerto Rico to Spain, the coffee chats transported us to different corners of the Spanish-speaking world.
Our guests discussed their cultural roots, family traditions, and the importance of preserving and celebrating their heritage. They touched on the challenges they’ve faced and the resilience that has enabled them to succeed in their careers and personal lives. Through these conversations, we gained a profound appreciation for the richness of Hispanic culture and the value of embracing diversity within our own team.
Recipe Sharing:
Food has always been a powerful medium for cultural expression, and during Hispanic Heritage Month, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to indulge in the diverse flavors of Latin American and Spanish cuisine.
Team members have shared their favorite recipes, passed down through generations, or discovered during their travels. From mouthwatering empanadas to aromatic paella and delectable churros, our recipe-sharing became a delightful culinary journey. It was not just about food; it was about the stories behind the dishes, the memories they evoked, and the way they brought us all closer together. The act of cooking and sharing these dishes also served as a reminder of the power of cultural exchange and the role food plays in connecting people.
As Hispanic Heritage Month draws to a close, the celebrations at EVERSANA INTOUCH have been impactful opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate the vibrant tapestry of Hispanic culture and heritage.
In celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ve learned that culture is not just about the past; it’s about the present and the future. It’s about the stories we tell, the connections we make, and the shared experiences that bind us all together. We look forward to continuing to celebrate and embrace the diversity that makes EVERSANA INTOUCH a vibrant and dynamic place to work.
